So, this was a fun one to research! This is a Seagram's liquor bottle circa 1969-1973 made by the Thatcher Glass Company. When we first spied it, we thought it was a vintage cocktail shaker (which you could definitely use it as) but then we saw the New Hampshire Liquor Commission stamp on it. This lead us down a real rabbit hole of research, but thankfully, there was a lot of info about these bottles. We know it was made by Thatcher Glass because of their logo on the bottom; we know it's Seagram's because of the D-126 marking; and we know it was made roughly at the end of the mid-century because of the plant number 65 in Streator, Illinois which made bottles for Seagram's during this time. The more you know! It's a pretty cool piece for anyone looking to extend a mid-century bar collection; but it's functional too. The plastic lids easily screw off so you can fill this bottle easily. Use it as a decanter, a cocktail shaker, or even a water carafe at a dinner party table.
